The Pelargonium Breeder (TPB) was a newsletter published in 1973 -74 by
the International Association of Pelargonium Breeders. TPB's stated
purpose was to collect, record and disseminate "information on hybridizing
within the Geranium family, particularly within the genus Pelargonium and
its cultivars". |

Welcome to The Pelargonium Breeder II. The fact that you are reading this, probably puts you into one of four categories: 1. You stumbled on this newsletter by accident, and think that you don't even know what a pelar... whatever is. Sure you do! Many people call it a geranium. While in the geranium family, pelargoniums are not true geraniums. Stick around, it could be fun. 2. You know what a pelargonium is, and are looking for information to try your hand at hybridizing. 3. You, like myself, are a hobbyist who has already discovered this fascinating pastime and want to learn more. Face it, you can't get enough pellie info to satisfy your cravings. 4.You are a professional hybridizer, scientist or researcher. You may do it as a hobby or earn a living at it, or both. You have information vital to everyone in category three, if we are to get our fix. Your nirvana should be shared. Help us, please! more |
